The fashion show, made by ramping the Everest base area to Kalapathar, has made a new record. It has been recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's highest ranked fashion show. Organizers said that the roject was planned to promote Nepal Tourism Year 2020 in a different way. The event took place at Kalapathar which is over 5,000 meters above sea level.

This fashion ramp, measured at the world's tallest place, was walked by 16 models. Eight of the participants were Nepali and five were Italian, while models from Sri Lanka, Singapore and Finland each participated. They claim to use only natural, organic and fashion products produced from Nepal.
On January 18, a team of 28 men went on a walk from Lukla to Kalapathar for the event. The team was accompanied by Secretary of Tourism Kedar Bahadur Adhikari, Nandini Lahe Thapa, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board, Guinness Book of World Records Officer.
