According to BulgarianMilitary.com, citing TASS and Forbes, one of Hamas' fighting brigades, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, attempted to trigger a chemical accident in Israel by targeting the chemical plant in Nir Oz with massive missile and drone attacks.
The assault took place on May 14th (Friday). Websites affiliated with Hamas, the Palestinian political and military organization, have begun to distribute a video purporting to display the plant's rocket attack. According to other accounts, Hamas carried out the attack with Iranian-made kamikaze drones. However, no official information about whether the chemical plant was struck by Palestinian missiles exists at this time. It is impossible to verify the facts.
BulgarianMilitary.com conducted an investigation into the plant's production. The Israelis use explosive chemical toxins such as chlorine, ammonia, and others to make different chemicals. Toxic products are also stored at the factory. According to experts, if Hamas' attack had been successful, cities near the plant would have been exposed to extremely radioactive and toxic airborne chemicals, which could have caused significant harm.
Hatzerim Air Base targeted.
