Myanmar's Junta has released more than 628 detained people from Insein Prison in Yangon, Wednesday morning.
A photo Journalist and four members of the Mon Myat Sate Htar charity, who had been brutally beaten before being taken into custody, are among the released detainees.
The volunteers had assisted protestors who had been injured by the Regime troops.
Ko Thein Zaw, an Associate Press Journalist, was also released on Wednesday.
However, the regime is still detaining more than 20 journalists.
As reported by Irrawaddy, more than 50-70 of the released people were University Students, who were detained onMarch 3.
Thousands of civilians are still inside the custody of the regime. More than 270 people have died in Myanmar since the Military coup on Feb 1.
