Wednesday turns out to be the bloodiest day in Myanmar protests as the Police forces killed at least 38 people.
The United Nations said that at least 38 people have died in the police crackdown.
There have been reports of gun fires on Thursday's protests but no casualties have been reported as of yet.
The protesters are undeterred by crackdowns and the use of violence by the junta. “We know that we can always get shot and killed with live bullets but there is no meaning to staying alive under the junta,” Reuters quoted one of the activists, Maung Saungkha.
The protesters have been breaking the barricades and demanding the reinstatement of the democracy in the country.
The United Nations Special Rapporteur Tom Andrews said that the systematic brutality is again on display in the South East Asian country.
