Former New York City mayor is one strike away from losing his YouTube channel.
The former Trump lawyer has been suspended from the video platform for two weeks following his claims of the November 2020 elections being stolen.
YouTube has also accused Giuliani also had broken YouTube’s rules on promoting nicotine but did not mention how.
“We removed content from Rudy Giuliani’s channel for violating our sale of regulated goods policy which prohibits content facilitating the use of nicotine and our presidential election integrity policy,” YouTube said in its statement.
Bloomberg quoted a YouTube spokesperson, “Additionally, in accordance with our long-standing strikes system, we issued a strike against the Rudy W. Giuliani channel, which temporarily restricts uploading or live-streaming.”
Rudy’s channel has 557,000 subscribers and can still be accessed but the former Trump attorney will not be able to post any new videos during the suspension.
He was previously suspended for one week in January from the video streaming platform.
