Myanmar Military Coup: UK Sanctions Myanmar Generals for violating human rights

The UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Rabb has ordered travel bans and freeze of the assets of the three Myanmar Generals. The UK has imposed sanctions on three Myanmar top officials

"The UK condemns the military coup and the arbitrary detention of Aung San Suu Kyi and other political figures," Rabb said.

"We, alongside our international allies will hold the Myanmar military to account for their violations of human rights and pursue justice for the Myanmar people."

Myanmar's top officials have been sanctioned as the country's government has been taken over by Myanmar's Military.

 Minister of Defense, General Mya Tun Oo has been sanctioned for his responsibility for serious human rights violations by the military. Home Minister Lt. Gen. Soe Htut and Deputy Home Minister Lt. Gen.Than Hlaing will be sanctioned for those serious violations by the Police Force.

Myanmar Junta has been using its force to suppress the voice raised against the government. People have been shot and hit in the protests.

Besides the UK, Canada and the USA also have imposed sanctions on Myanmar's Junta officials.
