Authorities in China have arrested more than 80 people for making and selling Fake Vaccines.

A spokesman for China's foreign ministry said 80 people had been arrested, including 3,000 counterfeit vaccines, during a vaccination campaign.

Authorities say the accused were selling saline water in needle bottles for more than four months.

Chinese officials say they were preparing fake vaccines to send abroad. 

Fake vaccines were being made in different places in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shandong.
