10 moderate republicans have urged Joe Biden to 'significantly' downsize the budget size of the $1.9T COVID-19 relief plan. President Biden has responded by inviting them for Talks.

The White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement, “With the virus posing a grave threat to the country, and economic conditions grim for so many, the need for action is urgent, and the scale of what must be done is large.”

President Biden also spoke to Republican Senator Susan Collins, inviting her and other Republicans to the White House "for a full exchange of views."

Earlier, the White House Economic Advisor signaled the President's willingness to discuss with the Republicans who floated a $600B alternative.

However, the director of the National Economic Council, Brian Deese said that the Democrat President won't compromise the need to address the public health and economic crisis.

Earlier, Senator Bernie Sanders said that the deadline for negotiation is "Yesterday."
