Parler app as reported has been conservative's new social network after Facebook's and Twitter's restriction to "conservative" content.
Parler CEO John Matze says they would not restrict content on political grounds which has been facing backlash from the tech giants.
Yesterday, Google was the first to remove the app from the play store. Apple followed after Parler to change the content moderation policy within its 24-hour's deadline.
But a bigger shock to the platform came after the provider of backend cloud services to Parler, warned that it will suspend the ties within the next 24 hours.
This could even result in the permanent disappearance of the platform. According to John Matze, it will take them at least 7 days to resume the services as they would have to restart from the scratch.
Amazon wrote in its letter to Parler, "AWS provides technology and services to customers across the political spectrum, and we continue to respect Parler’s right to determine for itself what content it will allow on its site. However, we cannot provide services to a customer that is unable to effectively identify and remove content that encourages or incites violence against others. Because Parler cannot comply with our terms of service and poses a very real risk to public safety, we plan to suspend Parler’s account effective Sunday, January 10th, at 11:59 PM PST. We will ensure that all of your data is preserved for you to migrate to your own servers, and will work with you as best as we can to help your migration."
