According to the Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, Iran is not excited about Joe Biden taking over the White House, but is very glad to see Donald Trump leaving the office. 

Rouhani referred to Trump as the 'rogue' and the most lawbreaking human in the United States at his cabinet meeting, telecast live on Wednesday. 

He added,“We are not very excited with Biden coming, but we are very happy over Trump going."

Since 2018, Iran has been under U.S. economic sanctions as Trump withdrew from Iran's nuclear dealings with world powers. 
The newly elected president, Joe Biden, has vowed to lift sanctions and return the US to the Iran agreement in order to comply with the terms of its talks, which Rouhani has refused. 

Iran has become stronger and cannot be compared with Iran in 2015, Rouhani said. He said, "It is impossible to compare our strength today with that time; Iran has become far more empowered with missiles, military and nuclear programs."
