At least ten people were murdered in a fire at a Cambodian hotel-casino near the Thai border, according to police.
Wednesday, at about 23:30 (1630 GMT), a fire broke out at the Grand Diamond City hotel-casino in the border town of Poipet.
According to officials, approximately 400 individuals were inside the structure when the fire started.
A video clip circulating on social media appears to show someone jumping or falling from upper buildings.
According to local media, the hotel facing the border was filled with Thai nationals.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
Some of the injured were evacuated to hospitals in the province of Sa Kaeo, a Thai foreign ministry official told AFP.
Poipet is a vital border crossing between the two countries. It is also well-known for its casinos, which many Thais frequent, even though gambling is generally prohibited in Thailand.
