After weeks of a stringent COVID-19 lockdown, Shanghai will gradually begin reopening businesses such as shopping malls and hair salons, the city's vice mayor announced at a media briefing on Sunday.
The city of 25 million inhabitants has been quarantined for almost six weeks because of a COVID outbreak.
