Kenya to receive $750 millions as part of the economy recovery fund from the World Bank

The World Bank granted a loan of $750 million to help Kenya recover economically following the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a statement posted on the lender's website, the investment will "assist in accelerating Kenya's ongoing inclusive and resilient recovery,."

The money is part of the World Bank's development policy operation, or DPO, loan series, which provides low-cost budget financing and assistance with critical policy and institutional changes.
