Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh accused Israel on Wednesday of engaging in organized terrorism through its campaign of assassinations and crimes perpetrated in occupied lands.
In a brief statement, the Prime Minister condemned the murder of 19-year-old Nehad Amin Barghouti, of the West Bank settlement of Kafr Ein, as a result of a bullet fired by Tel Aviv soldiers during clashes.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for its part, called Barghouti's death "another act in a series of extrajudicial executions conducted by Israeli soldiers against Palestinians."
The Foreign Ministry encouraged the international community to put pressure on Tel Aviv to stop its strikes, while also requesting that the International Criminal Court open an inquiry into Israeli crimes.
