Iran notes record oil exports despite Western Sanctions

The Iranian government's spokesman, Ali Bahadori Jahromi, cited the country's record oil shipments as evidence that it is defying Western sanctions.

The Western media's acknowledgment of Iran's record oil exports over the last three years is another proof of the failure of maximal pressure on the Iranian people, according to Bahadori Jahromi on Twitter.

Iran's result-oriented foreign policy, which does not rely on Vienna or New York, has rendered the sanctions ineffectual and neutralized, he adds.

He stated unequivocally that "the Iranian nation has triumphed in this struggle."

According to estimates from businesses that watch oil flows, Iran's oil exports have climbed to moreover one million barrels per day for the first time in nearly three years, suggesting increased supplies to China.
