Authorities said that rapper Kodak Black was detained Saturday in South Florida on a trespassing allegation.
According to the South Florida SunSentinel, the Broward Sheriff's Office reported Black was arrested early Saturday morning in his hometown of Pompano Beach. Investigators did not immediately disclose the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
Black, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, later paid bond and was released according to the publication. His publicist and attorney did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.
President Donald Trump shortened Black's three-year federal prison term for fabricating documentation used to purchase firearms at a Miami gun store on his final day in office in 2020. He had completed around half of his sentence.
He was eventually sentenced to probation for abusing a teenage girl in a hotel room in South Carolina last April. Black was first charged with rape but pleaded guilty to first-degree assault in exchange for a settlement.
Black has sold over 30 million records and earned numerous multiplatinum and platinum certifications for songs like "Zeze," "No Flockin'," and "Roll in Peace."
