After returning from a trip abroad, three South Korean K-pop sensation BTS members were diagnosed with coronavirus.
According to the group's management agency, Big Hit Music, on Saturday evening, rapper RM and vocalist Jin tested positive for the virus.
Earlier this week, the agency said that another member, Suga, obtained positive COVID-19 test results on Friday while self-quarantining but was otherwise asymptomatic and "administering self-care at home."
The seven-piece supergroup had just returned from the United States, where they performed their first live shows since the pandemic began.
The concerts took place in late November and early December in Los Angeles.
Since their concert series, the band members have been on holiday. Each of the three afflicted musicians returned to South Korea on a different day, and all three members have received complete vaccinations.
How are the members of the band feeling?
According to the agency, while RM appears to be asymptomatic, Jin has reported moderate symptoms with a low fever and is self-treating at home.
Big Hit Music stated on Friday that Suga was not exhibiting any symptoms.
The agency said that RM tested negative upon his return from the United States but was diagnosed with COVID-19 before his self-quarantine discharge.
Jin submitted to two COVID-19 tests upon his arrival and before his release from self-isolation, both of which came back negative.
On Saturday afternoon, he developed flu-like symptoms and submitted to another test, which came back positive.
The United States and South Korea are seeing increased COVID-19 cases as the virus's omicron form spreads internationally.
Big Hit Music stated that it places the "highest priority on the health and safety of our artists."
BTS earned global popularity last year with their super-hit single "Dynamite," which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
Their collaboration with British rock band Coldplay, "My Universe," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming BTS' sixth No. 1 on the chart.
