Hundreds of Polish people marched in the streets of Warsaw on Saturday in solidarity with migrants stranded on the Polish-Belarusian border.
Waving banners and symbolic flags made of metalized plastic sheeting, the demonstrators shouted that migrants are 'welcome.'
Tensions between the EU and Belarus have increased in recent months over the EU accusing Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko of deliberately sending migrants to the border in response to the sanctions imposed by the EU, which he denies.
