Police have summoned a Vietnamese street seller after he aired a video parodying the Turkish chef known as Salt Bae.

Bui Tuan Lam is seen in the video sprinkling spring onions on a dish of noodles in the style of Nusret Gökçe, the viral chef.
However, it appears that Mr Bui has run afoul of Vietnamese authorities as a result of his actions.

To Lam, Vietnam's Minister of Public Security, made headlines after dining at Mr Gökçe's posh restaurant and devouring a gold-encrusted steak.

Mr Gökçe's personal TikTok account posted a video of the supper.

In the Communist, largely impoverished country, the dinner, which is thought to have cost thousands of dollars, raised eyebrows.
