After a tragic shooting incident involving actor Alec Baldwin on a film set in New Mexico last month, Hollywood action star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson stated on Wednesday that he would no longer use actual guns in his films.

Johnson, who was in Los Angeles for the global premiere of his new Netflix blockbuster "Red Notice," in which he co-stars Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, claimed his company's films would "not use real guns ever again."

Halyna Hutchins, a cinematographer, was killed on the set of "Rust" on Oct. 21 when a gun Baldwin was carrying discharged a live bullet, according to investigators. Baldwin had been assured that the gun was "cold," a phrase used in the industry to indicate that it was safe to use.

The incident has rekindled debate over the usage of faux firearms like the one used by Baldwin.
