After falling during a celebrity golf match, Tom Felton was transported to the hospital.
The Harry Potter star had an apparent medical problem immediately after playing Whistling Straits Golf Course in Wisconsin on Thursday (September 23).
Felton was taking part in the celebrity run for the Europe vs. United States golf match, which will be held this weekend.
"Actor and musician Tom Felton had a medical incident on the course while competing for Europe in today's Ryder Cup Celebrity Match," the Professional Golfers' Association of America said in a statement. "He was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated."
The association did not disclose any additional information about the incident.
Felton appeared unsteady and pale, surrounded by other players, volunteers, and tournament officials, before being helped to his feet and laid on a golf cart. Felton is best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film trilogy.
He was subsequently sent to a nearby hospital for additional assessment.
Felton was competing in a two-person scramble tournament with athletes and celebrities from the entertainment industry. After playing 11 holes with Teemu Selanne, a former professional ice hockey player, he fainted.
The Independent has contacted Felton's agents for an update on the actor's health.
The event happened the day after Felton's 34th birthday, on Wednesday (September 22).
"33 years done — good lord it's been so much fun getting here — yet, somehow, I still feel the best is yet to come — thank you all for your love, support & sense of humour — let's keep a good thing going — to the next 33," the Origin actor said with a smiling selfie on Instagram.
