On October 1st, one of Dubai Expo 2020's "must see" attractions will open its doors to the public.
The Emirates Pavilion, located in the Opportunity District and within walking distance of the Al Wasl Dome, provides a glimpse into the future of commercial aviation by recasting the role of science and technology in the next 50 years of air travel. Visitors can explore two floors of interactive multi-sensory installations.
Visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai may now arrange their visit to the Emirates Pavilion in advance and reserve their chosen date and time slots.
The Emirates Pavilion started in March 2019 and finished in June of this year.
The Emirates Pavilion follows various sustainability concepts during its design and building phases, including employing non-hazardous, regional, reused, and recyclable materials in its overall structure and using different design solutions to reduce energy and water usage.
The four-story building's form and façade are inspired by an airplane's wings in flight, with 24 aluminum-clad fins curving around two sides of the structure.
An 800-meter LED system, which shines in brilliant colors at night, is part of the outside illumination.
The bright, ultramodern architecture brings in plenty of natural light while also serving as a backdrop for immersive experiences, and it can accommodate up to 120 people every hour.
Visitors to the pavilion will be greeted by friendly and experienced staff as well as Emirates Cabin Crew.
Visitors will be able to enjoy the Emirates Pavilion cafe, which is located on the first floor, as well as purchase a souvenir from their visit at the Emirates Official Store, which will have bespoke Emirates and Expo 2020 Dubai products for sale.
The Emirates Pavilion is open from 10:00 a.m. to 22:00 every day at Expo 2020 Dubai.
