Jennifer Lawrence, an Oscar winner, expects her first child with husband Cooke Maroney, People magazine revealed late Wednesday.
Lawrence's representative confirmed the pregnancy to the magazine after the news broke on Twitter on Wednesday evening.
The Hunger Games star, 31, married Maroney, a New York art dealer, in a late-2019 wedding by Adele and Amy Schumer.
Lawrence won an Academy Award for "Silver Linings Playbook" in 2013.
She'll also star in "Bad Blood," a 2022 biopic of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, who is currently facing fraud charges. The film is based on journalist John Carreyrou's book of the same name, published in May 2018, the first to expose Theranos. find out more
According to Forbes, Lawrence was the highest-paid actress in the world in 2015 and 2016.
