Following the complete withdrawal of American soldiers, the US will no longer be responsible for the operation of Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport, according to the Pentagon.
The Taliban "will have to handle" the airport's operations "on their own, and I suppose with the international community," according to spokesman John Kirby, adding that "it won't be an American duty."
