Anti Taliban Forces have said that they have recaptured three districts in the Northern Afghan Province of Baglan, which is about 180 Kilometers north of the capital Kabul.
The forces said they are also moving and expanding their resistance to other districts of the region.
"Dozens of Taliban fighters were reportedly killed or injured during the militant encounters," Chinese News Media CGTN reported.
This is the first assault that has been launched against the Taliban since they took over Kabul last weekend.
The former Afghan Prime Minister Gulbuddin Hekmatyar said that the formal talks have begun between the Taliban and the political parties.
