Travis Barker has flown for the first time in nearly a decade.
On Saturday, the Blink-182 drummer and his girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, boarded a private plane bound for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, at an airport in Los Angeles.
The couple can be seen heading up the steps to the plane and disembarking at their vacation destination in photos obtained by TMZ editors.
Travis and Kourtney haven't said anything about their adventure.
After a business plane, he was traveling on crashed during take-off from a runway at Columbia Metropolitan Airport in South Carolina in September 2008, the musician vowed to never fly again.
Travis and Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein were badly injured, and four of the six individuals on board died. At the age of 36, Adam died of a heroin overdose over a year later.
Travis, though, stated in an interview with Men's Health magazine earlier this year that he was considering flying again.
"If I succeed, and the angels above guide me and keep me safe, I'd like to return and tell my children, "Hey, I just flew here, and then I flew home." And everything turned out OK.' I have to inform them since I was about to abandon them "'I told the publication,' he said. "That's a perfect day."
