The Pro-Trump right-wing nationalists have taken it offensively when the Women's national soccer team knelt in favor of racial justice.

When the American team lost against Canada in the Olympic Semi Finals, the Pro Trump MAGA activists said it was because the team knelt down ahead of the game.

The MAGA commentator Ben Shapiro said it was due to the politicization of game that the US women's team lost the match.

"The US Women’s Soccer Team went WOKE and now they lost to Canada," Brigitte Gabriel posted on Twitter.

The chorus of MAGA rage against the progressive members of the US women’s team ignored a few pieces of contradicting information — namely, that neither team had kneeled before the game, but the US team had made such a demonstration before their victory against Sweden just a few days earlier.

On conservative media, the mockery reached an almost comical level, with one blogger on pro-Trump commentator Wayne Dupree’s website declaring that “Little Ms. Purple Hair and her team of woke warriors fell flat on their faces.”

Numerous teams from other countries have also seen all or some of their members take part in on-field demonstrations against racism amid the games in recent days.
