According to a spokesperson of the Taliban, the Afghani insurgent group will put forth a "written peace deal" to the Afghan government as soon as next month.
"Although we (Taliban) have the upper hand on the battlefield, we are very serious about talks and dialogue," Reuters quoted the spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid.
"The peace talks and process will be accelerated in the coming days ... and they are expected to enter an important stage, naturally it will be about peace plans," Reuters quoted him.
As the insurgent group continues to capture districts, hundreds of Afghan troops have been forced to flee to the neighboring Tajikstan cross borders.
Taliban has captured almost one-third of the total Afghani Districts as of now. Taliban has accelerated its operations recently, as the US forces prepare to leave the country.
"Possibly it will take a month to reach that stage when both sides will share their written peace plan," Mujahid told Reuters.
