After sharing a passionate kiss in Los Angeles, Tom Holland and Zendaya from Spider-Man: Homecoming appears to have verified long-held rumors of a romance.
On Thursday, the stars were seen locking lips for the first time in Holland's Audi sports car while stopped at a red light.
The New York Post's Page Six received photos of the Brit carefully touching Zendaya's face as they leaned in for a kiss, as well as a moment of playfulness as they goof around in the car.
On the same day, Holland was photographed with Zendaya and her mother, Claire Stoermer, implying that the connection is serious.
The photographs come four years after the co-stars initially became romantically linked following the filming of Homecoming in 2017.
They laughed off the rumors at the time, which claimed the couple had been taking secret getaways together.
"Wait, my favorite part is when it reads, "We go on trips together!" HA! I haven't had a vacation in a long time!" Zendaya responded to the tabloid reports with a tweet. "hbu (how 'bout you) @TomHolland1996 (sic)???"
"@Zendaya Does the press tour (sic) count? "The actor gave a response.
Zendaya and Holland were then seen in a New York City restaurant with the actress/parents singer's five months after the social media posts, which did little to quell the rumors.
Holland, on the other hand, appears to have moved on by the summer of 2019, as he was photographed spending time with Olivia Bolton in London until they split up in April 2020.
Zendaya was linked to her Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi during the same time period, with whom she vacationed in Greece and his native Australia, however, he played down the romance rumors by claiming his companion was more like a "sister" to him.
Holland and Zendaya's representatives have yet to comment on the relationship news, but the two will be back on the promotional trail together soon as they prepare for the December release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the third film in the current Marvel superhero series in which they play love interests.
