One of the six senior civil workers kidnapped on June 15 in Cameroon has been slain.

Gunmen abducted divisional representatives from the ministries of the economy, housing and urban development, water and energy resources, state property and land tenure, and small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the divisional chief of taxation assigned to Ndian division, on June 15th.

Mr Lawrence Forwang, a Ndian Senior Divisional Officer (SDO), confirmed the kidnapping, stating one of the victims was a woman.
