R&B star Chris Brown was charged in Los Angeles with punching a lady.
On Friday 18 June, the U.S. singer, 32, reportedly struck the woman.
The cops had been dispatched to 19600 Citrus Ridge Drive block, San Fernando Valley around 7:30 a.m. local time, per a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson.
"The victim told her and the suspect argued and Brown hit the suspect," police said.
Brown was not there when the police arrived, said the spokesman, battery reporting was finished.
The Special Representative will hand over the Office of the Procurator of Los Angeles who will determine if charges are due.
For comment, Brown representatives were contacted.
Grammy-winning artist Brown had been in problems with authorities beforehand.
In 2009, he was arrested for attacking Rihanna, his then-friend, and was then convicted for a crime in 2015.
A five-year restriction order was handed to Brown for another former girlfriend – the actress and model Karrueche Tran.
