On Monday night about 20 Palestinians were wounded during an Israeli raid on Occupied East Jerusalem's Sheik Jarrah area.

Sheik Jarrah Palestinians face forced displacement from their homes to allow Israeli colonizers to take over their properties.

The region has been a focus for protests and solidarity events, with the backing of Israeli and international Sheik Jarrah residents attracting Palestinian and anti-occupation activists.

The Palestinian Red Crescent claimed on Monday that 21 victims in this region had been wounded, 13 had been tear gas ingested, three had been pepper-sprayed and two had been shot by the Israeli troops with metal-coated bullets.

Two persons were wounded by the attack and an elderly guy hospitalized with a head injury. The organization reported.

The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that Sheik Jarrah settlers threw rocks on one of its ambulances, while Israeli police sprayed skunky water on another ambulance.

Israeli police told Haaretz that a settler was wounded in the stone's back.

The Israeli military has arrested two Palestinian people in Sheik Diab, while they were firing grenades and bullets covered with rubber. They have attacked residents of al-Kurd and al-Qasem families with stickers, and faced upcoming expulsion, the official PNA, Wafe said. Saleh was a Palestinian activist.

Arrests of the West Bank

Israel troops arrested 35 Palestinians during raids in the occupied West Bank on Monday night and Tuesday morning. Such night operations by Israeli soldiers and undercover units in Palestinian cities and villages occur virtually every day.

14 Palestinians, twelve of them belonging to the Marei family, were detained during the raids in the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan, in the north of the West Bank.

Seven Palestinians were also arrested in Jenin, and two in Tulkarm, while ten Palestinians were arrested in Silwan district of East Jerusalem, south of al-Aqsa Mosque.

The arrests occurred when Israelis on Monday, accompanied by the Israel police, broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The people of the Moroccan Gate, east of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, entered the location that leads into the Piazza of Western Wall, where Israelis make a prayer.

The Palestinian religious confidence that the site manages, Jerusalem Islamic Waqf, reported the settlers held Jewish prayers opposite al-Rahmeh Gate and the Rock Cathedral Mosque and had been given a talk on the Third Jewish Temple.

Although the Jewish presence on the site was prohibited, settlers were often allowed to get into Al-Aqsa Mosque and called upon some to destroy the Dome of the Rock Mosque and erect a Jewish Temple.
