Naftali Bennett, Israel's new Prime Minister, has vowed to bring the country together after four elections in two years of political gridlock.
He stated that his government "would strive for the sake of all people," adding that education, health, and red tape cuts would be top priority.
In Sunday's 60-59 vote, the right-wing nationalist will lead an extraordinary alliance of parties backed by MPs.
He takes over from Benjamin Netanyahu, who was forced to resign after 12 years in power.
As part of a power-sharing agreement, Mr. Bennett, the leader of the Yamina party, will be prime minister until September 2023.
He will then take over leadership for another two years to Yair Lapid, the president of the moderate Yesh Atid party.
