Moscow, Russia's capital, has imposed new limitations in response to a spike in the number of coronavirus infections.
Authorities reported 6,700 new infections on Saturday, the biggest number in a single day this year.
The climax, according to Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, will be in July at the earliest. In a metropolis with a population of 12 million people, such a problem must be addressed, he said.
As a result, the approaching week should be designated as a work-free week. Bars, restaurants, and nightclubs would also have to close at 11 p.m.
Playgrounds and sports fields, for example, would be closed in parks.
