According to TASS, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the first line of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline has been completed.
“The first line of the Nord Stream 2 pipelines was successfully laid 2.5 hours ago; the only thing left is to lift the pipelines a little on the German and Russian sides and weld them together,” Putin added.
He also stated that the gas pipeline's line work, including the sea section, has come to an end, and that Gazprom is ready to load Nord Stream 2 with gas.
