A waitress was detained in Spain for allegedly chopping off her boss's penis after he allegedly attempted to sexually assault her in a club in Barcelona.

According to La Sexta, the lady was arrested by authorities from the Mossos d'Esquadra, the local police department, on Monday after she allegedly hacked off the man's penis while working a shift in a pub in Sant Andreu de la Barca.

She alleges she hacked off her employer's genitalia with a knife after he attempted to sexually assault her during a shift on Monday at midnight.

Following the occurrence, the waitress summoned the authorities and emergency services to the bar, who transferred the bar's owner to the local Bellvitge University Hospital for an emergency genital reattachment procedure.

According to La Sexta, the woman said that she acted in self-defense during the event and that the alleged assault on Monday was not the first time her boss had attempted to sexually abuse her. He had forced her to have sex with him on several prior times, she informed authorities.
