Rita Ora and Taika Waititi were photographed holding hands and eating a meal in the sun, sparking rumors that they are dating.

Rumors of a relationship between the singer and the producer of Thor: Love and Thunder started last month after Rita shared a photo of the two looking cozy on Instagram.

Although there has been no official confirmation that Rita, 30, and Taika, 45, are dating, they seem to be getting along swimmingly in Australia, where Rita was filming The Voice: Australia as a new coach on the program.

New photos show the two going out for a meal and a coffee in Bondi Beach, Sydney, where Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson are currently filming Thor 4 with Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson.

Rita wore a lace black crop top with a midi skirt, black shoes, and a dark blue bucket hat for her outing, while Taika wore a lace black crop top with a midi skirt, black shoes, and a dark blue bucket hat.

Taika, on the other hand, opted for a more vibrant look, pairing neon yellow patterned shorts with a white T-shirt, a baby blue sweater, and bold sneakers.

They sat outside while eating and drinking what seemed to be a pair of coffees, with Rita even purchasing a couple of cans of chilled drinks.

As they were eating, Taika beamed and Rita seemed to laugh as he held Rita's hand close to his chest.

Although they were both wearing sunglasses, they didn't make much of an effort to hide their identities during what might be considered their first public appearance as a couple.

When they were photographed walking down the street, Taika had his arm around Rita's shoulders as she carried canned drinks and he carried takeout food.

Rita was also seen blowing on a hot beverage to cool it down.

The singer's boyfriend, Romain Gavras, was rumored to have broken up with her earlier this year.

After dating for six months, the couple was said to have broken up due to the "distance between them" during the lockdown.
