Two people were critically injured including nine others at a restaurant in Tennessee when a restaurant deck collapsed this weekend. 

Officials said a birthday party was taking place and there were more than 40 people on the deck when it collapsed.

The incident happened in Zoi’s Restaurant at Harbor Lights Marina in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security stated via a statement posted on Facebook.

11 people from the scene were taken to the hospital, including two critically injured. The 9 others were not critical. 

The Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security said that officials will inspect the deck to find the cause of the collapse.

The individuals at the birthday party were taking a group photo at the time of the collapse, according to reports.
