The US president Joe Biden will be announcing the troop withdrawal from Afghanistan on Wednesday.

It is expected that Biden will be announcing the troop withdrawal to start from May first which will be completed before 9/11 of 2021.

 According to a White House Official, the deadline set by the Biden Administration is fixed and the US president knows that the troop staying in Afghanistan is not the solution to the Afghan War.

"This is not conditions-based. The President has judged that a conditions-based approach, which has been the approach of the past two decades, is a recipe for staying in Afghanistan forever," the official said.

The Biden administration has determined that al Qaeda does not currently possess an external plotting capability, according to the official. 

More than 2,300 US troops have been killed in Afghanistan which has costed more than 2 trillion US dollar of economic expense.
