The White House's younger dog, Major, will undergo special training following multiple biting incidents.
The spokesperson for the first lady, Michael LaRosa said that the dog will be trained to adjust under the new conditions at the Presidential quarter. He said, “The off-site, private training will take place in the Washington, D.C., area, and it is expected to last a few weeks.”
Major is a three-year-old German Shephard of the US president who was adopted from the Delaware Humane Association.
Major was first reported to have bitten the White House official, a few months ago. The additional training comes after Major was involved in a pair of biting incidents at the White House and was first reported by CNN.
He was previously sent to Delaware after the first incident.
President Joe Biden has publicly defended Major, saying his dog is protective and has been adjusting to many unfamiliar people on the grounds around the White House.
