ISIS claims attacks at Mozambique, that killed 55

Islamic State, formerly known as ISIS, has claimed attacks on the Mozambique town of Palma that had killed 55 people via its Amaq News Agency.

The attacked region belonged to the gas companies and was worth millions of dollars.

Mozambique Government had confirmed dozens of death in the coastal town which inhabited about 75,000 people, near the Tanzanian border.

Human Rights Watch, HRW, reported militants indiscriminately and cruelly fired at the people and building during the attacks on the Twenty-fourth of March.

IS claimed the attacks on Monday. 

AFP said more than 6,000 to 10,000 people are still waiting to be evacuated from the region.
