The South Eastern nations of Malaysia and Indonesia have called for an emergency ASEAN conference to find a solution for the insurgency in Myanmar.

The two nations also have condemned the military takeover and the use of violence by the Junta against the pro-democracy protesters.

Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and Indonesian President Joko Widodo condemned the action of the Military and said that a conference should be organized to discuss the ongoing situation in Myanmar.

The leaders have strongly objected to the brutality shown by the Military against the protesters. They also said that they can not see the painful situation of the crisis in Myanmar. They have also condemned the coup and detention of Democratically elected leaders.

They also accused Myanmar Military of violating principles of Peace, Security, and Prosperity enshrined in the ASEAN charter.
