Real Madrid qualifies for UCL quarter finals, defeating Atlanta

Real Madrid have qualified for their 36th UCL quarter-final as they defeated Atlanta by 4-1 aggregate in the Round of 16s.

Real Madrid defeated the Italian side 3-1 in the second leg of the Pre-quarter finals.





Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos, and Marco Asensio scored in Madrid's victory. Luis Fernando Muriel Fruto scored a cosolation goal for Atlanta.

Atlanta were down 1-nil after the first leg.

Real Madrid will be playing their 36th quarter-final, which is the most for any team. Bayern Munich are six behind Real Madrid as the team to play second most number of quarterfinals in the UCL.

Zinedine Zidane has won 30 matches in the UCL as the Real Madrid manager out of the 19 matches. Only Josef Heynckes (42) and Pep Guardiola (48) won their 30th game in a fewer number of matches than the Frenchman.
