Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian urged the US to not suppress the Chinese Companies and treat them fairly and unbiased.

The US has marked Huawei and five other Chinese firms as a threat to the United States National security.

At a regular news briefing in Beijing Zhao said the facts have been bent and "the US is not a country to be trusted."

China has accused Washington of working in the interest of the American firms to eliminate competitions. The move "will severely disrupt the technological and trade exchanges between the two countries and the world at large, and will also undermine the global industrial and supply chains," Zhao said in his remarks.

Huwaei has been accused of potentially spying on the US through the 5G technology.

Huawei has been denying the allegations.
