Warren Buffet joins the exclusive $100bn club that includes Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates.
The 90-year-old is the chairman of investment firm Berkshire Hathaway, which has seen its shares rise to a record level this year.
Buffet has been quite a philanthropist and has donated a lot from his net worth.
His net worth edged above $1000bn for the first time on Wednesday. It is said that his reason to not cross $100bn till now is his big heart which makes him donate so much of his worth to charity.
He has given $37bn in Berkshire Hathaway stock since 2006. Mr. Buffet is also a co-founder of the Giving Pledge, a campaign to encourage billionaire philanthropy.
Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerburg has just slipped out of the exclusive list, according to the Forbes real-time billionaires list. Buffet's hands are lucky and generous.
Berkshire Hathaway was a failing textile company before Mr. Buffett took control of it in 1965. It now owns more than 90 businesses.
