The US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated that the US reserved the right to act as it seems fit in the killings of the US troops in Iraq.

"We'll strike, if that's what we think we need to do, at a time and place of our own choosing. We demand the right to protect our troops," Austin Said.

He added that the US has ordered Iraq to probe the incident on March 3, which attacked the Military bases that hosted the US troops.

Washington has been consistently blaming the attacks at the US Military bases in Iraq and Syria on Iran.

The US previously conducted Air Strike in Iran on February 25.
