A 14-year-old teen has been charged for her grandmother's killing in Michigan.
Detroit Authorities said on Sunday that a girl, 14 in suburban Detroit has been charged with her grandmother's killing.
Her mental health and abilities will be examined before the additional court procedures.
A 65-year-old woman was found stabbed at her home in Canton, last Monday. Her granddaughter was arrested on the same day about 20 miles away at a motel in Southgate.
Wayne County prosecutor Kym Worthy said the victim was a nurse.
The teen can be either sentenced as a juvenile, an adult, or both if convicted.
