Worshipers welcomes a new mosque in Sharjah ahead of Ramadan

Coming across the Al Dhaid Road, located in Al Tain, a new mosque Al Shafaa, is open, providing a place of worship for residents of the area and users of the busy motorway. 

The Islamic mordern fusion styled mosque has five domes, is 4,601 square metres and has a 21-metre-tall minaret. Along with the praying areas, the mosque facilitates with ablution, restrooms and a dedicated accomodation for the imam and car parks.

To prevent the spread of on going Covid 19, safety measures are currently placed in the mosque.Worshippers must be wear face masks and bring their own prayer mats and Quran.They must also be spaced apart to prevent crowding.

The mosques must undergo regular sanitation and must have seperate entry and exit points. It can accomodate around 515 worshippers. Prayers are currently preparing for the upcoming Ramadan.
