Junta supporters attacked on anti-coup protesters

Tensions on the streets of Myanmar escalated on Thursday when the anti-coup protesters were attacked by the pro-Junta group.

Pro Junta people rallied in the streets with the banners supporting the Military take over.

They responded to their critics by throwing stones and firing slingshots at their critics. Some even chased people, kicked, and stabbed people.

Many people have been injured but statistics are not yet clear.

The Junta supporters have previously gathered in the streets but they had not used the violence so openly as of yet.

Police have made several arrests following the violent incidents. These kinds of incidents make it harder for the Myanmar Crisis to be resolved.
