The U.S. economy added 49,000 more jobs as announced by the Labor Department on Friday. The department said on Friday, that the unemployment rate has gone down from 6.7 percent to 6.3 percent in January.

However, the fall in unemployment rate only counts the unemployment claims from the people. The statistics don't show the people who are tired of seeking jobs and stop seeking them.

The stats also show a crazy side as only 6,000 of the jobs were created by the private sectors. The government created 43,000(net)  more jobs in the period.

Most of the jobs were lost in the travel, leisure, and hospitality sectors, showing the effect of the pandemic in the economy is not yet over.

The number of unemployment-benefits-claims, however, increased to 779,000 last week, despite its trend to go down in the recent few weeks.
